On the 15th July 2007 Rob Ballard's Evo 7 was involved in a crash at 120Mph, causing damage to the rear quarter, front of the car, radiator, passenger side, windscreen and suspension. With only 2 weeks until the next race there was no chance in racing on the 4th of August, that was until Turnpike Racing rose to the challenge. Rob was racing on the 4th as promised, and the car can still be seen at Combe being raced by Gary Prebble.
